Jenna Alyssa’s artistic journey is a story of passion, dedication, and self-expression through both music and dance. Born and raised in Switzerland, she discovered her love for the arts at an early age. By four, she was already singing and dancing, with creativity flowing naturally into every part of her life. Her mother played a pivotal role in shaping her musical foundation, teaching her piano at four and guitar at seven—two instruments that would later become essential to her songwriting.

At six, Jenna joined a children’s choir, experiencing the joy of performing in harmony with others. In 2011, she began formal vocal training, refining her voice and deepening her emotional connection to music. By 14, songwriting had become her personal outlet—a way to express emotions that words alone couldn’t capture. In 2021, she took a bold step forward, releasing her debut single Reclaim, followed by Maybe and Last Goodbye—songs that reflected her raw and honest journey. For two years, she performed as a backing vocalist in a live band, taking the stage at some of Switzerland’s biggest festivals, including Lakelive Festival in Biel, Stadtfest Solothurn, and Kofmehl Solothurn. These experiences helped her refine her stage presence, build confidence, and connect deeply with her audience.

Beyond music, dance has been an equally defining part of Jenna’s artistic identity for over 20 years. She began with Russian Ballet before expanding into Hip-Hop, Modern, Jazz, Heels, Commercial, Afro, Dancehall, House, Musical Jazz, and Competitive Show Dance. As a member of the renowned Steep Dance Crew, she earned three Swiss championship titles and represented Switzerland at the World Championships in 2015 and 2017. The crew also gained national recognition as finalists and a crowd favorite on the hit TV show Die Grössten Schweizer Talente in 2015/2016, showcasing their talent to a wide audience. A defining moment of her early dance career was performing as a show act at THE DANCE in Hallenstadion Zürich, where she shared the stage with the legendary Les Twins.

As she transitioned into the adult category, Jenna continued to push her limits, winning the Spotlight Competition with Sphere Jazz Dance Company in 2023. Her passion for dance took her beyond Switzerland, leading her to perform in San Diego with Different 2.0, under the guidance of Jasmin Weder-Wessels. Now, she shares her knowledge and passion as an instructor, teaching Jazz Class Level 3 and inspiring the next generation of dancers to find their own artistic voices.

Today, Jenna is stepping into the spotlight as a solo artist, seamlessly blending her deep-rooted love for both music and dance into every performance. With each song and every movement, she invites audiences into her world—one that is raw, deeply personal, and unapologetically authentic. As she embarks on this next chapter, Jenna is ready to share her art, her story, and her passion with the world.
